Hey, I got a S14 swap into my 95 and my car idles a bit rough and when I try to accelerate quickly the car will sputter, it also happens a little when cruising. However, when I accelerate slowly or when I deccelerate it runs fine. Anyone know what could be causing the problems? Next week I'm going to have the shop take a look at the wiring to see if that's the problem but I doubt it.Also, if I press the clutch quickly and firmly it works fine, but if I put a little pressure on it, the pedal sinks to the floor. Bled it, still have the problem, bypassed the damper, bled it, still have the problem. Since I upgraded the stock clutch to an Exedy Stage II is it just my master/slave cylinders are failing? Please help.

Your master cylinder or slave cylinder definatly could be failing. If you cant find any brake fluid on the rubber boot of the slave cylinder it is probably an internal leak in the master.

As far as sputtering, its probebly your fuel system. What fuel modifications have you done and what are you boosting?

I have a Blitz SBC i-D boost controller set to 7.0, but I don't think that's in PSI, but since the problems occured I set it to 0 so I should be boosting stock. I have a Walbro 255, Z32 fuel filter (is that really a mod). I found out why my clutch has been acting up, the slave is leaking, is there another option besides replacing it?

Honestly, the replacement only runs about 60-70 bucks, its worth getting a new one that will last you tens of thousands of miles.

I cant speak on the sputtering problems from experience, maybe someone else will care to chime in.
