I have an sr20det. I'm running at 7psi. One day I was goin onto the freeway at boost all of a sudden it started to sputter. There was not black smoke indicating loose Intercooler piping.

If i drive the car under boost it runs fine. When I start hitting any type of boost the car sputters. I can still get it up to 7psi. but the boost is jumpy. Any help appriciated.

I checked the vacume lines and i didnt see any cracked lines. Any suggestion will be greatly appriciated. Thanks..

I was having an alternator problem, and it did the same thing around 5000rpm. If you don't have enough voltage the coilpacks won't fire correctly, don't know if thats your problem you didn't say anything about a charging problem, just letting you know what happened to me.

Check to make sure your exhaust manifold doesn't have a leak, and if thats tight then it might be a coil like slimcat said. i had one burn out on me. It was like i'd jump 1000 rpms, sputter, jump another 1000 sputter and so on.

Fuel filter?Spark plug gap? If your gap isn't small enough your spark will get blown out.
