sputtering/ no acceleration sr20det

my problem is this, i have an sr20det in my s14. only some of the time, when i full throttle, the car sputters and doesnt accelerate. the whole car starts vibrating but my profec b reads 13lbs of boost. why would i be getting boost but not moving?

There can be a lot of things that causes sputtering. What do you have done to your motor? When you say you're getting boost and not moving. Is your rpm going up? If so that could be signs of your clutch slipping also. Give us more info.

Boost leak, or vacuum leak is my guess.

ive got basic bolt ons, fmic, bov, exdy clutch, finaza flywheel.

it really feels like im getting boost but then power is only coming from an sr20de.

but other times i get great boost and the car runs fine. i ohpe its not the clutch i just replaced it last month.

What do you mean the power's only coming from a SR20de? The motor's revving up but the car's not moving? Did you properly break in the clutch before you decided to push on it?

yeah, it feels like im getting boost but its like im only using the sr20de not the T. im not sure if its a leak. i bought the car off a guy and as soon as i got it i replaced the clutch. i drove 500 miles to break in the clutch.

its not when i shift gears, i can hold at say 3000rpms then punch it and it wont move, it just seems to sputter and hardly move. i thought it may be fuel cutting. because, it runs better at half a tank then at full tank.

my bov sometimes squeals while boosting so it may be a leak. im thinking about buying a whole new IC setup and hotpipe/ bov cuz my IC had a whole in it but was fixed with jb weld( not me, the other guy did this)

i just want it to run normal without all these problems. i know i have a great turbo so it cant be that. so i just dont know.

Just make a boost leak tester, it'll cost you like 10$ and its soooo easy to use and detect leaks.

yea my SR does the same thing.when i rev it... it flows nicely but when it hits 5k rpm it bogs out and doesnt go any further, sometimes not even past 3k rpm... and plus the engine cant even idle on its own. I have to keep stepping on the gas.
