04 Infiniti Q45, 146k Miles

So I've owned this car for about 8 months now, and I adore this car. Been having one huge issue lately.

Upon start up, it runs and idles heavy, sometimes shaking the whole vehicle violently, before seemingly steadying out for a while.
Then, upon driving, I experience loss of acceleration from the first 0-20, and then again sometimes at higher speeds.

Check engine light has been on intermittently, going to have it ran on my lunch break later today, but I was curious if anyone has had this exact issue, as I've seen some similar posts in the forum.

I'm assuming it's a fuel related issue, but the more opinions the better.

Hello and welcome to NICOclub.

Knowing what I know about these engines, I have a very good guess as to what it could be at your mileage.
However, I'll just wait till you get the codes read and post them here. Otherwise, our numerous opinions could have your head spinning and get you on a wild goose chase.

Just got the code back, P0133; Air Fuel Ratio Circuit Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1

Any ideas? Where should I start?

I am currently not in a positron to check the exact info, but meanwhile I'd suggest you look in the factory service manual (linked in the signature). Go to the EC section, and scroll down (or type in the search bar) to find the code.

I suspect the primary oxygen sensor needs attention, but while troubleshooting I like to beat the bushes for good measure before buying any parts.

Hey,
I've been having this issue too in my FY33 lately. Right now my alternator is out, so I can't tell you for sure if this fixes it. I know mine runs rich; the exhaust reeeeeeks of unburned fuel.
Try these:

1. Clean your sensors on the air passage. MAF, temp, TPS. Check for dirt or grime
2. Listen for vacuum leaks. There may be a hose slipping or cracked
