sputter problem with ka-t

i bought a s14 with a ka-t and ever since the third day i drove it, the car doesnt boost or somtimes idle the same... at about 4.5 k when i hit boost it sputters and cuts off pretty bad. it feels like sparks plugs are goin out but they arent i checked. it also backfires when i hit boost when it sputters.

somone please help

Sorry cam i should have commented on this thread instead of your other one. Like i said your def running rich as f*** when you hit full boost. Although it may not be a boost problem it could be your MAF I have read threads where as the RPMs went up there car would sputter and run rich.

Are you spiking or have bad vacuum?

idk ill check the sensor but how would i check it?what other symtoms should i look for

Sounds like fuel cut to me. Does it have a walbro in it? Check your fuel pressure. How is the car tuned or are you just runnin a FMU? Does it smoke when it cuts? Probably white smoke...

KA-T section would be of more help, though you might have a thread there too.

What are you using for tuning?Have you checked for boost leaks?What FPR are you using?What plugs are you using?Pre-turbo (post maf) plumbing airtight?
