So, i have two problems.1. In the mornings after all night sittin when i go to start my car it takes about15 sec, cause i turn it turns over but doesnt start, and again until it turns over and stays.2. in the past 2 days it did something new twice, the car is idlingit drops down and simply dies, when i try to restart it it does the morning thing and doesnt start for a good 30 45 sec of tryin to crank it....eventually it starts and is fine.

also at idle it sits at 700ish but everyonce in a while jumps down to 500 in a bit of a cough it seems, which i'm not liking either.

I think the fuel filter could be a part of this, any ideas? any kind of input would be great

unplug the MAF sensor then crank her up, you might need a new one or at least some cleaning. worked for me

Check MAF first, replace fuel filter anyways, and if that doesn't solve the problem then look into the fuel pump.

It is equally possible the fuel pressure regulator is dying.
