Could be many things, but sputtering is usually an ignition issue... Such as coilpack(s) failing under load or bad spark plugs.

I would take out all the coils boots and plugs and inspect everything for cracks or fouling.

What plugs are you running and how old are they? Does it ever miss at idle? Codes stored on the ECU? What is your fuel pressure & do you have a FPR? What is your base timing set at?

We need more info...

In addition to ignition issue it could also be as simple as a boost leak. Have you pressure checked your intake pipes yet?

We talk about spark plugs in here at least once a week there must be tons of threads... So for that question I have to say..

Some stock FPRs are shot and unable to deal with the Walbro. Most of the guys here have put nismo or other aftermarket FPR on. They are cheap I would suggest you put one too so you can be sure you have the right fuel rail pressure... And at the same time put a fuel pressure gauge so you can setup the FPR correctly...

Because it's only at high RPM I bet its one of your coil packs... Pull them out and see if one is discolored like it's been arcing thru the boot sometimes.
