spun bearing??

ok i have a question.. i might be buyin a ka24de from this guy i know for $100. he told me that it might have spun a bearing. what would i have to do to get it fixed.. i heard that i have to get a new crank or balance the old crank?? and thats it the reason im buying this is because im going ka-t. and i would like to try and build this motor myself.. i will know more info bout the motor later on once he emails me back with more details.. I wanna know would i be wasting my time buying this motor or just go and find a new motor.. once again i wanan go ka-t and wanna build it up a lil.. ne input would be greatly apprecieated

I am sure you could find another "good" KA for around that. I got mine for $200 (~90K Miles) without any problems, this will also be my first build. Since it is your fist build, it may be easiest to start with a good motor. Try to find someone that is doing the almighty SR swap and pick up their KA for cheap or free.

Or just tell that guy to give it to you and then buy him a case or two of beer (or bottle of Crown). I am sure he is tired of having it laying around any way.
