Can anyone with experience about Sprint springs on an S13, tell me about them? How do they compare to Eibach Sportlines? I've been reading a lot of bad things about Eibach on this forum and/or Zilvia.net.

Only thing i can say is that Eibach lies about their lowering height. They claim their Sportlines are 2.2" drop, but they are really what they claim their ProKits to be: 1.7" drop. The ProKits, meanwhile, are .75" drop. Dont be fooled. Get a old issue of Sport Compact Car or Super Street (like about 5 years old, i have several), they will show the REAL lowerings. Now as for how they perform, my brother has the ProKit on his 95 Mustang GT convertible, and they do good. But thats a different car altogether. Sorry if i didnt help at all. :icesangel

thanks for the replies guys... it sorta helps me hahaha! Oh well, SpeedRacer1, do you get a good drop with the Sprints? Are they progressive? I think they are cheaper too, so I might go with those. Is the 1.7 drop on the eibach's a good drop, by the way? Cause I think 1.7 is pretty decent. I believe that the Sprints gave a 1.8 drop...

Yeah the drop should be 1.8 inches front and rear. It looks good but since I have horrible shocks at the moment I wont say much about handling.

Cool. I think I'll go with the Sprints then. Where is a good place to buy them?

If your looking for handling... sportlines and pro-kits are good choices... :)

I guess I'll shell out the extra money for the Eibachs, but I'm sure I'll be happy with it. It's gotta be worth the $60 dollar difference, right? And Eibach only lies about how low they drop?

ok, kind of spur of the moment, after reading a post, and talking to my buddy, I've decided to save up for a few more months and get Tein HA coilovers instead. Maybe it will take longer than a few months, maybe a little into next year, but then I'll have the high quality stuff. Might as well do it right the first time...

well, if you are still wondering about the sprints and the sportlines, i've had both before. i used to drive a 91 se coupe with the sprints and i got a really nice drop. i was more in it for the looks and was pretty satisfied. the handling was pretty descent too, but it's not like i take turns going 100mph. the front lowered more than the rear which a lot of people liked because it gave it a nice drag stance. i currently drive a 93 hatchback and installed the sportlines thinking that it would lower my car even more than the sprints. of course i was wrong though because like what other people are saying, eibach sorta lied about the 2.2" drop. the sportlines are nice and stiff but i still wish it lowered as much as my sprints did on my other car. i'm hunting for a 95-96 240sx now and will probably go with the sprints again.

yeah, that doesn't look very low. my 93 with sportlines looks way lower than that. maybe they just need to settle in.
