But roughly the same ride height. I know they make them for a lot of cars, but does anyone make them for the 240sx? I wouldn't want any more than maybe .5" lower, and would be just fine with the stock ride height, but would like a substantially higher spring rate.

eibach pro kit are only supposed to lower the car a little bit. ive got some h&r sport springs and they only lowered the car 1.3 inches.

One that I can think of that is substantially stiffer than stock is the RSR "Race" spring. Not sure on the drop, but the RS-R website lists it.

The only other thing that comes to mind are the Nismo S-Tune coilovers. They're basically a matched shock/spring combo with a minimal drop and higher spring rates. Not sure if you already have dampers in mind. No adjustability on the S13 version, AFAIK.

check the sticky in the suspension page.. it has almost all the spring rates you need to know.

nismo s-tune are something like 5.5 or 6 kg/mm with less than a 1 inch drop

look at pictures of rico's car to get an idea of the drop

Just curious, why would you want stock ride height, lowering a car will reduce cg and aid handling, as long as its not done to an extreme.

It has a very minimal effect on handling, considering as you lower a car you are worsening the suspension geometry. And I'd rather have the ground clearance for a car that I drive around. If you've got the money for all kinds of adjustable suspension bits then you can make the most of lowering, but I'm not really into spending that kind of money.

ground control coilovers let you leave it at stock height, but i wouldnt recommend using them without quality shocks like koni. kyb agx's maybe, but the warranty will be void due to high spring rate.

You can have shocks custom valved for whatever spring rate you want but you'll start approaching the prices of decent coilovers very quickly.
