Pretty sure after seeing yours and redlines....I'm definitely going to go with the 085s and some Potenzas :-D Lookin really good bud, I cant get over how nice that looks :dblthumb: . Its perfect too, cuz I have the same Twilight blue pearl M45 Sport with the aero kit as m35 sports, but it isnt lowered just yet. I will end up goin with the Eibachs like I had on my coupe too.

Any issues I should know of with the 4 wheel active steering? They move the tow n camber just a hair on the rears I believe, but nothing I've heard of issues with so far. I think I'm gonna do the continental DW or the Potenza Pole Positions. Would you say do the 255/285 all the way over the 245/275, or do you think the 245/275s would work alright? Any chance of a 295 fitting on the back end w/o rubbing? LOL, I know its a stretch, but I thought I would ask to see.

alpha... just make sure the rolling diameter of all narrow or wider setups don't affect the car. As for the 245 in the front... some of the rides on here have gone that route. I just wanted a little more rubber front and back.

I do have some camber issues with the Eibachs and with this tire/wheel setup. I decided on the Vred Ultra Sessantas since they can be moved from left to right as opposed to being flipped (mounted/unmounted/rebalanced).

Thanks for the kind words for all of the 2011 posters...surprised that this was on page 1 of the M forum... considering it's age. :)

I'm going to do a 255/285 setup, might as well go all out! Just debating on the S. Drives and Re760s. I've always had Bridgestones and never let down...either one cant be anyworse than my KDW 2s I had previously LOL....Hell yea dude, I'll post some pics up when I get em, springs are coming Saturday, wheels should be here Wednesday ish. Tires shortly after...now if all this friggin snow will be gone I can rock my new shiz :P

Redline, did you have any issues with rubbing at all when you lowered your car on the Eibachs? I just got my wheels on and after looking a bit more. I dont think I have a whole 1.0" to give up back there, I realize it will settle some, but with my 255/285 Bridgestones I just dont think I can lower it w/o it cutting into the tires or making an issue in the back. The front I can lower all day, I know a couple other people that were lowered on the exact same setup and on S.techs (m35sport) so I just wanted to double check and be sure before I do the install and tear everything apart lol. I'll post some pics later today, bear in mind it was super clean as of Friday and with stuff starting to melt its gotten kinda dirty. I do loooooove those Vossens tho!!

no rubbing unless if I hit an overpass seam on the freeway.

Also, what was your thought of the new bbk with weight over the old ones. Does it feel like the M is any heavier? I know some ppl said the bbk is a bit heavier than the stock brakes. I know the wheels are a bit heavier, but I still want to have some fun handling aspects of the M. The brakes concern me a bit, but the upgraded tires definitely handle better!!

I also pulled the trigger on the Vredestein tires, I went with 245/35 and the matching rear 285/30

they should be in any day, I hope the 285/30 fits.

I'm dropped with the Tein H-Tech springs.

its great car, especially the interior, i love the NAV, its a great car, its powerful and has some good unique features also they put in wagner brakes pads performance is great, low dust, no noise etc. ,I like lane sensor (tells you when your driving in 2 lanes) and the backup camera tells you how far to turn the steering wheel. its great, kinda pricey if your buying a new one though, with some options, it turned out to be 60K when we were in the market for a new car, just to expensive
