springs rub against firewall

hey guys..

i just installed some inner and outter tie rods. with the increase in steering angle, my kyb agx and tein springs, rub against the firewall or undercarriage. whatever its called.

anyone had this problem?

are you sure its rubbing on the firewall. It doesn't seem possible, have you had the front end aligned? is the tire rubbing, and not the spring strut combo? do you have pictures?

I've tried looking, but cannot really see. I just installed the inner and outter tie rods and this problem occur. I'm thinking since the tein tie rods are adjustible and it has the spacers for increase angle, the wheels are rubbing when turning..

I'm just going to get an alignment and see what happens after that.

got an alignment and it solved the problem.

When you install aftermarket suspension stuff, you have to compare OEM and aftermarket parts side by side and keep the same length. It sounds like your tie rod end was further out, so angle was changed and tire was hitting the firewall.
