Okay, few questions...

I'm going to buy some Tanabe springs when i get new tires / rear shocks, what else do i need? alignment shims? How much would a shop charge to do the springs? I'm assuming they wouldn't charge more to replace the shocks while they do the springs...I need new shocks anyway so figured I could get them both done@ the same time for cheaper?

any input?

if you have a jack, some stands, a rented spring compressor, commom hand tools, and a helper you should be able to do them yourself.

a shop would probably charge around $80 an hour and probably 2 hours.

I heard the rears are a B1CtH to install.

Changing springs and struts/shocks isn't hard. Just be careful and use common sense when doing the front springs. Do not even think of loosening the strut piston nut until your springs are compressed and even then do it away from your body. A loaded spring can send you the hospital.

haha well i would attempt to install them myself but i'd rather save myself the hassle, i put in the CAI a few months back.

I need the rear shocks replaced anyway & was going to pay for that to be done so i figured if they are doing the shocks, might as well do the springs @ the same time, might get some kind of break?

probably going to have it done when i get new tires, so itll be about a 700+$ adventure

May I ask how many miles you have? I'm puzzled by how you already need shocks replaced.
