D-Roll, patience is a virtue... I smell a possible group buy for Eibach prokits on the horizon through StillenD-Roll wrote:I called Stillen this morning to find about the Eibach pro-kits and they only got about 5 sets of springs in previously but were sold the same day. So I pre-ordered mine for $238 and they should be getting the next shipment in around mid-Feb just to let you guys/gals know. I cant wait!!! So if you want those springs, call up Stillen and pre-order them!!

Ok so say you get full coil overs. $1200 system. Then what good do the stock shocks do you huh? You might as well spend $250 and have your stock suspension die over 3 years of use and then decide what full suspension you want. Or what if you put lowering springs on the car and then sell it 2 years later? You just saved yourself a grand and sold it to the next guy to fix the suspension when it gets unbearably bouncy. Think about it. Its economics.Shift_Altima wrote:I really don't get why people do springs not full coil overs. I know it's expensive but don't you end up ruining ur dampers if you don't have the size to fit the springs?
Actually, Pro-Kit is usually a 1" drop for most applications. They are progressive rate springs which were designed to work with stock suspensions for comfort and performance. Not only will it give you a more asthetic looking vehicle, it also helps increase the spring rates and lower the vehicle's center of gravity to enhance the vehicle's responsiveness and handling.Shift_Altima wrote:I really don't get why people do springs not full coil overs. I had full coilovers on my specv and for daily driving it was ruff. They were awesome for autoXing but not for daily driving. Im just going for a decent comfortable ride with some style I'm curious to see what the coilovers will look like for the coupe. Ever look at the rear spring setup of the coupe?? The shock is separate from the spring. By the time the stock shock go out, Im sure aftermarket shocks will be available.adidas2go wrote:
