Ok, so I do not own the car as of yet and this is the first time on the forum. I already did a search and did not find anything. I am looking to see if anyone has stuck a set of Pro Kits (Eibach) on an 03 I35? I see that Eibach makes them for I30/Max up to 02 and then from 04 on but did not see anything for the 03's. Just curious if by chance the Maxima and I35 for that year share the same struts/spring set up.
I am coming from the forced induction side of things and have had several really tweaked cars. I am not planning to go wild here but just think that with the right set of wheels and a little less wheel gap in the front that the I35 can be a somewhat sporty looking luxury car. I have taken a look at a couple this past week and am looking to pick one of them up this weekend if the one I am considering checks out.
None the less, I have found that while the 350z/Max/Altima and others all share the same motor that there are differences between them such as cams and what not. However, I would think that with some form of engine management that the cams and what ever else could litterally be bolted up with in reason. I am referring to the potential of headers, maybe an exhaust, intake, pulley kit... Hell you could potentially look at going forced induction with some of the kits out there. Just curious if anyone has done any of this to an I35? But like I said, I am not going wild here and cams are pretty much out of the question for me. But mild mods will be fine like a nicer filter, springs/struts (coilovers maybe if I can find a set) some 18x8's if the G35 wheels fit and definately a brake upgrade at some point.
If anyone one has any links please let me know. Oh ya, I have had 2 different Sentras as well. I had a 99 SE with a SR20DET swap and a QR25DE but got rid of it before I started to get too stupid with it as I felt the need for AWD and in came Subaru! Time to grow up I guess and get something a little nicer so back to Nissan! Thanks,Chris
