Hi, I dont know what to get lowering springs with good struts or spend almost $1000 for coilovers. I dont want my S14 to be Slammed .I just want to fenders to sit on top of the tires and have a nice ride . Because right now my car is slammed and it is KILLING my back tires. Please help if you can thanks

why dont you get a camber kit and fix the rear? i'd go with coilovers though. Having adjustable settings is much better than having none.

If you think that is the reason for tire wear, you'd be best buying a set of these:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Coilovers vs. springs is like apples vs. oranges

i guess you could say that if oranges were comprised of apples...

a coilover is simply a spring and shock combo that is combined and constructed to provide adjustment on several different levels. basically, a good shock and spring combo can function as well as a coilover if the spring rate and dampening adjustments are optimized for the specific use, it just lacks the versatility a coilover provides. you can swap the entire assembly with different parts to produce different results.

please dont spread misinformation like that again.
