So i finally got a job and i have sucessfully obtained enough money to get stiffer springs instead of my Tein Stech flexiflyers

i've been eyeballing the RSR race springs...

with rates of 5f and 4.2r and a drop of 1.2/1 respectively

i like them alot. The thing is, the drop is a little more mild then i'd like to have

I stumbled upon the Megan Racing springs. having stiffer rates of 6.2 front4.6 rear (estimated from standard measure)and a drop of 1.75 all around, these appeal to me much more, that and they're on sale for 109 as opposed to RSR's 204 shipped (also a sale)

can anyone vouch for the megan springs or will i have to bite the bullet and spend the extra 100 (sarcasm much?) on a reliable company

i like the stats of the megan much more though...

get coilovers!!! but no, I would go with the RS*R's because they are proven. Or be the pioneer and go with the Megan's and be our test monkey! LOL... whatever you choose, best of luck, hope you end up being happy with your choice.

what dampners are you running? I would make sure the valving on them can handle those spring rates at that drop before you install them. I know most coilovers kits recommend re-valving the dampners after a spring adjustment of +/- 2kg, not sure what the S.techs are tho, maybe your still ok.

yeah, i would assume the agx's would not last long, if you actually feel the need for rates that high, you will soon be wanting solid mounts, because stiff springs with **** rubber upper mounts is kind of pointless, seems like when the average spring/shock combo isnt cutting it anymore its time to look into real coilovers anyway.

If you have AGX's, whats the highest spring rate recommend?? Are the 5kg/mm RSR springs 'soft' enough??

ive heard of lots of people running the AGX w/ RSR springs

from what i've heard, the AGX can stand fairly stiff sprigns, the problem lies in the drop...too low will blow them very quickly
