Springs for 08 Spec V?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I know the spec v stock springs are a bit lower then the standard sentra springs, so I think that if I get "generic" sport spring for my spec v I doubt it will lower it much if at all. Are there any springs specific for the 08 spec v that anyone knows of?

yup, eibach prokit. 1.3" lower then the spec v, front and rear.

No need for better shocks with these springs. Eibach does make another spring, but it kills the shocks right quick.

There are also several Coilovers, Tein in the works, Megan Racing has then too and someone else whos name evades me at this time.

Did you buy them? Do they drop the car to 1.3" from what it is originaly? (considering oem spec-v are already lower than stock sentras)

It's an approximate measurement. If you read djtorello's post, he says 1.3in lower than stock Spec height.

The drop is noticeable. I installed the Pro's installed and very happy with them. Although their not as low as the Sportlines but they do ride rough on nasty roads. But overall, I'm very happy with the ride, it doesn't feel like I'm on boat wobbling down the road anymore .

Cool.. Thats good but like we said.. 2.0S are higher than spec-v.. so I dont know if it will be as noticable on my ride than yours.. I hope so..

Think about it. Eibach doesn't manufacture the spring differently for the 2.0 vs the SE-R. Thus, the spring will be the same height, thereby lowering the vehicle to the same height.

What would you guys say are some of the better quality spring mfg's out there. I had a set of Tein springs on one of my past cars and they seems to sag quite a bit after about a year, and I used to have some Nuspeed springs back in the day.

TEIN's are generally very good. Eibach and H&R are always a safe bet as well.

After that, brands vary quite a bit. There are several off-brands that basically make show springs for slamming a car as much as possible. There are smaller firms (Megan Racing, for instance) that seem to copy the designs of bigger companies with varying success. There are also some lesser known brands that I've heard/seen good things about (example - Vogtland).
