Not sure if anyone else has done this but I thought it'd be useful to those who are deciding whether or not to install a spring kit. Just got the Eibachs installed today and there's definately a difference...

I'm thinking about holding off on wheels till next spring but I would like to either get the Stillen front lip or an intake for my next mod. I saw AEM just released theirs...not sure about the pricing on that one though, seems a bit much. Any opinions?

Also just installed my springs this past weekend, and ohhh man what a difference in both looks and performance. Definitely recommend the Eibachs, only wish their was a set of shocks out for our car so i could have done the install at the same time. Right now im waiting for nismo to release to their front lip just to see how it compares to the stillen options. Maybe in the mean time also do intake and exhaust.

i live in NYC and i drive normally. I've always wanted to have a smooth ride. NYC streets are rough, would any springs help me with just getting a smoother ride?

Dufference huh? Dont really have much difference to me. Thats why i didnt buy a set from eibach or H&R......that drop just isnt enough for me.....Oh and theres been several posts about the drop comparisons already man. Only one that hasnt been shown yet are the H&R's. But according to the drop, should be pretty much like the Eibachs.

Nah the Eibach's won't provide you a smoother ride, but they will help reduce body roll. The lower ride also will give you more control as your center of gravity is shifted lower. The goal is to have your center below the ground, and therefor giving you more handling. Too low and that's a problem...

Which is why I'm mostly posting in here.. I don't have an A/C, but rather an Accord. I have Eibach's and Koni Yellows on them, and would rather have kept the stock springs. I bottom out cuz it's just too low for me... I dunno, it's not my style I guess... But even with the Koni's on their stiffest (not fun for anything except track roads - trust me) I still scrape my Greddy or my front bumper on everything. In order to jack my car up, I have to roll onto a 2x4 first, just to get the low profile jack under the car... I hate that considering my last ride was an 86 4Runner, where I could do ALL work *without* a jack.

Anyway, to each his own. Having said all this, I enjoyed it for a few months after I first installed them. But after a year I would like to take my decision back on the springs... Only thing I've regreted about it.

[EDIT]Oh yeah, forgot to mention... I agree with you on the price-point, it is rather steep. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think i paid like 400 for all 4 corners about a year and a half ago? But I have a hookup on most basic parts like this so I dunno how "good" of a deal I got. I always go by my same mantra though ---------- You get what you pay for... It's a good product don't get me wrong, but like I said above, it must just not be my style. I do like how it removes the gap though, just would rather next time try to get bigger tires and adjust the spedo if necessary.

For the hell of it:http://s219.photobucket.com/al.../Mods/ ... l...ccord/

[EDIT 2]I would suggest you go for the intake. Performance over looks for me any day. The intake will be a breath of fresh air; pun intended, but rather appropriate. You will definitely notice a performance with a nice open intake over any stock box.

Down with hondas for starters

I say get the springs.

They are one of the best mods you can do for your car.

The handling is greatly improved. The car also looks so muchhungrier and hugs the hell out of the road
