Nah the Eibach's won't provide you a smoother ride, but they will help reduce body roll. The lower ride also will give you more control as your center of gravity is shifted lower. The goal is to have your center below the ground, and therefor giving you more handling. Too low and that's a problem...
Which is why I'm mostly posting in here.. I don't have an A/C, but rather an Accord. I have Eibach's and Koni Yellows on them, and would rather have kept the stock springs. I bottom out cuz it's just too low for me... I dunno, it's not my style I guess... But even with the Koni's on their stiffest (not fun for anything except track roads - trust me) I still scrape my Greddy or my front bumper on everything. In order to jack my car up, I have to roll onto a 2x4 first, just to get the low profile jack under the car... I hate that considering my last ride was an 86 4Runner, where I could do ALL work *without* a jack.
Anyway, to each his own. Having said all this, I enjoyed it for a few months after I first installed them. But after a year I would like to take my decision back on the springs... Only thing I've regreted about it.
[EDIT]Oh yeah, forgot to mention... I agree with you on the price-point, it is rather steep. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think i paid like 400 for all 4 corners about a year and a half ago? But I have a hookup on most basic parts like this so I dunno how "good" of a deal I got. I always go by my same mantra though ---------- You get what you pay for... It's a good product don't get me wrong, but like I said above, it must just not be my style. I do like how it removes the gap though, just would rather next time try to get bigger tires and adjust the spedo if necessary.
For the hell of it:

[EDIT 2]I would suggest you go for the intake. Performance over looks for me any day. The intake will be a breath of fresh air; pun intended, but rather appropriate. You will definitely notice a performance with a nice open intake over any stock box.
