hey guys. need advice again. okie heres the deal. i got a wheel and fender gap and i wanna get rid of it. its let say about an inch or 2 gap. i have eibach springs on the 240. the front is 1.6 and the rear is a 1.8 drop. i got 17's with 215/40/17 tires on it. will the tokico shocks work well with the drop or do i have to get new springs the lower it more??? i was thinking about getting the tein basic coilovers but thats a pretty penny that i dunno if i wanna spend that much. so im open to all advice. thanks guys.

You can help your gap problem by going with 215-45-17 tires as long as your wheels are not too wide for them. Your struts will not make much difference in ride height if any at all, it's the springs that determine the height. The 240's just got a bad gap from it's original design, I've decided you can't win without going crazy on some expensive suspension parts.I've got the Eibach Pro-kit with KYB AGX struts and most people think it's at stock ride height.

If you can afford it I would recommend spending the extra money either on kyb agx or going all out for the coilovers. I know a few people that have had bad experiences with tokicos.

well if you're spending the money, go on coilovers. Sometimes they cost the same ie TEIN basic damper. Two entry level coils are Tein Basic damper system and Tanabe Sustec SOC(something like this).

pro kits are barely noticeable, get sportlines, they're better and good middle price range.

if you can afford, of course, coilovers, but i set mine up w/ agx w/ sportlines and the ride looks tittteee. I also actually had slightly smaller tires (low-profile) 215-40-17 instead of the recommended 215-45-17 (think those #'s are rite) cuz I got 2 free good tires w/ my rims and wanted to save 200. Actually looks hella good, cuz everyone thinks I have the crazy low pros when they are actually just normal tires that are made to go on a integra (which was the car I got them off of).

I'll take pics of my car and post them next week so you can see what they look like (about a 2-3 finger gap from top). sides are still kinda gappy, but not nearly as noticable as before.
