Spring stutter! help

Well, my problem is a new one for me. I have been working on my car alittle over the winter, had her stored in a garage for the winter , over that time I did a s13 front end conversion and started to build a turbo kit. I threw the New fuel pump (Walboro 215) in it and that was easy and went well, I drove the car home and it seemed fine. Now the problem. I was driving it today and she started to stutter when I would start to go and whenever I shifted in the lower rpms (below 3k). I thought it was a clogged fuel filter because when I really got on the gas she would drive fine. So I picked up a 300zx FF and threw it on, I was partly right, when I blew threw the old filter I got alot of resistence. But still I have the same problem, Also the Check Engine light is coming on and going off over and over while the car is running... and Ideas? I need to get this car running by the end of the week so any help is appreciated.

In reguards to the fuel pump, I didnt like having the butt joints just sitting in my gas tank, so I got different once that heat shrink, then I put more heat shrink over those connections.

Start by pulling the codes off the ecu.
