spring rates on coils for drifting

hey all im gonna buy coils here pretty soon, i was just wondering what are good spring rates for drifting?? any opinions are welcome thanks

seeing as there are a LOT of guys drifting pretty competitively on spring/strut combos i say get whatever you feel like buying, untill you get really competitive, like pro or very close, i dont think spring rates play a huge roll, just get something that has all around good performance

off the shelf rates from any major brand will be fine (tein, tanabe, etc).

you wont be changing rates until you are WAAAAY deeper into the "scene" and know what its going to do to your car.

i still run the "stock" rates on my Teins.

i'm with joe just run what your coilovers come with, if you have them. Hey Joe I think you will be proud to know that I am going to a Drift day on October 19th and not taking it on the street.
