I have a 93 convertible and I'd like to make the car handle a little better. I'd like to get better shocks and springs for it. I would like to car to corner better, have less bodyroll, and maybe even be lowered a little bit. I don't want it dropped to the ground, but I'm ok with lowering an inch or two. Can anyone recommend the "best bang for the buck" combination of shocks and springs?

Nice DeLorean...

Check out the Convertibles forum, several people have Tien S-Tech springs and AGX or GR-2 shocks on their verts. That's probably the most cost-effective setup.

I wouldn't recommend the RS*R springs I have for a vert - the rate is too high, would shake like crazy over the smallest bump. I have a decent amount of reinforcement so far and it's still what you would call "busy".

I'm just starting to look at suspension setups myself, but KYB AGX's and Koni Yellows seem to be good choices for shocks.http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=70898

I dont know what people tend to use on the heavier vert...

heavier and less stable chassied.

the S-tech and prokit are probably your best options given the 'verts already compromised chassis rigidity, and it will drop the car enough to improve handling but the ride quality shoudl remain stock-like. Depending on damper settings.
