I am considering using some kind of spray in sound deadener on the inside of my door panels and other trim (anything I hear that rattles.)

has anyone done this? when I decide to move forward, i will chronicle my experiences. I will take some pictures of the application as well.

I've only used the mat style on my installs. Spray stuff is messy!

I'm sure any of it needs good drying time.

Saw that "lizard skin" on google, had heard good things about it, but never used it or seen it used in person.

Those of us into the old (very noisy) VW Beetles use the stick-on product, DynaMat.

this was definitely a consideration, and i feel dynamat is the marquee sound deadening product available. i chose to go with a spray as opposed to the mat because of the oddly shaped surfaces i expect to be covering. door panels, misc. interior trim, etc.
i just ordered my eibach pro kit and will be installing that in the next few weeks. next step is to get my new door speakers and also put something on the interior trim and door panels when i install them. then im building my custom sub enclosure.

I was looking at a pair of 10W6's...but decided to go minimalist. Do you have the Bose system?

i do not have bose. thats why i want some better quality door speakers. i am going to build a 4080-like box for my Jl sub. i think one 10" will be more than enough to put some bass in there. i dont need it as loud as i had it in highschool
