I saw someone in a (black?) 240 with the plate JDM TRBO on 81 in VA. That was one quick car. I was in the black STi with my roommate in the crystal gray STi.

If you're here, nice car - very quick. :) Just curious what turbo you have in there.

It was much faster than an STi with a 3" turboback exhaust. He just left us. It was inspiring. Mind you, that was on the highway on the straights. Get us into a windy section, it would probably be a different story. Especially considering it was probably a very large turbo (and hence high boost threshold and laggy).

Yeah, he was fast. It made me figure that he might very well be in some Nissan forum. What is the most posted forum for Nissans? Sort of like nasioc.com is for subarus?

I actually signed up for dragva a long time ago. Yes, very ricey but it's a local sort of group and there are non-ricers in there too. Thanks! I'll take a look.

That is Shaun's car, of JGY CUstoms - (maybe part owner, but I am not sure) His NICO screen name is pampadori.

From what I hear it is very fast. I dealt with Shaun when I bought my engine.

Let's not be too hasty, now. :nono ;) That car was FAST. I'd say maybe low 12's to somewhere in the 11's.

I'd be really interested to find out what the heck the dude has under that hood. :devil

Also, if I may comment on your sig:

It should read:If all else seems under control [no comma] you're just not driving fast enough.

I don't mean to pick, I just wanted you to know.

Wow this is cool and all.. but I sure as hell wouldn't want my name, license plate, and place of employment put up on any website.

You guys should think about wtf you're doing. I'd be seriously pissed.

That is a good point. Screen name, first name, and place of employment would be plenty (you could even just get by with screen name).

License plate was posted because that was my only identification of the guy to give him the :thumbup.

hey pampadori - i'm avatarr's roommate with the gray STi.

Man, i went past you on cruise control, picked up the walkie-talkie and said "hey jason, that's a nice looking 240" and then as i'm about to change lanes back into the right (after passing whatever minivan/pickup/semi/motorhome i had just gone around), I looked at my rearview mirror to see a Nissan Bullet screaming up FAST.

You might say I expedited my lane change. Heck, I think you even used the shoulder to get around me as I was still in the lane change process....

VERY fast. I see your mods list in your sig. Looks very "comprehensive" ;)

We were on our way back from The Dragon (US129 down by Fontana Village). Big annual subaru meet. We'd had a blast and were on a mission to get back to NoVA. Nice seeing some truly well done cars every now and then!

(by the way, I'll never forget the smirk on your face as I gave you a thumbs after you slowed down and we went past you again)

I only have the Vishnu Tuning 3" TBE and the 65mm APS CAI as far as performance goes. I also have some gauges for boost and oil pressure and a pioneer head unit with XM but that's not performance related so they don't really count as "mods". The tint, however, added at least 5-7HP. ;)

i saw you give a signal so i stayed in it. a little hairy for sure. i've had this 240 so long. its still a blast for me to drive. you guys were cruisin' at a healthy speed. there are spots there where i know there aren't any cops. but the rest of the spots, i seem to get pulled over at for absolutely anything! next time you guys are heading south, give me a shout at the shop and you guys can swing by.
