You should be able to using the auxiliary audio output on your phone, and input to the stereo if nothing else.

Furthermore, if you have the navigation package, you should be able to pair the phone up for bluetooth audio streaming and have spotify in your car wirelessly.

I did that with Pandora for a while in my Altima before I noticed how badly it was chewing up data.

Not sure if you're talking about how it connects to the car, or how the actual program works.

The actual program doesn't work like iTunes per say, as it streams the music to your phone via your data plan. You can also load any music you already have downloaded though, so in that respect it does work like iTunes.

There's multiple ways you can output audio into your car's multimedia system. Like has been said, you can either use the auxiliary audio input, or the ipod cable adapter (if you bought one and your system is capable), or bluetooth (again, if you sprung for that system).

The simplest by far is using the aux input on the stereo, but then you have to use the controls on your phone/device to change songs, etc. If you use one of the other options, you should be able to control it from the buttons in your car.

You need to check with your owners manual or something like that to see if the car is equipped with that.
