I couldn't find those pedals anywhere so instead I bought these and believe it or not, they are really high quality and easy to install. They are not flilmsy wafer-thin covers - its brushed aluminum or as we brits say: alu - mini- um. (in the picture - some of the pedals are up-side down, but the infinit logo is actually right after you turn the pedal the proper way).

Just pull off the factory rubber surrounds that came on the factory pedals and install these or find somebody who will - it's not easy to fit inside the lower footwell AND work a drill, etc. They are held on with bolts so they won't slide or work loose and the kit includes the parking brake pedal and the left side floor rest as well.

They come from China and take about 2 weeks for shipping but the seller has a 100% positive rank with over 700 sales.

Had those on my GS (with Lexus logo) and never had any problems with them.

I saw them but figured the OP wouldn't be interested since they weren't exactly like the OEM set

Fellas...

Anyone care to take a few pics of your installed pedal set? A few closeups of the mounting points would get you a few brownie points. :bigthumb:

Was thinking about doing this on my previous M. I for one think these look 10 times better than the stock pieces, not that they are bad, they just look really plain.

thanks in advance.. :wavey:

I noticed that the installation instructions call for alignment then punch (LOL). Does that mean we need to drill holes for the screws

I had mine installed by the guy who did my tinting. I'm a 6'3 210 pound rugby player, so installs that require contortions of this nature are not fun for me. The guy who did my tinting is very short and he had no trouble doing it for $50. If you're my size, I suggest you do the same. Oh, and YES he did center and drill each pedal. They are VERY secure and feel great.

Yeah, I feel ya on the cramped working space. I'll probably ask my homie to do mine, since he's much smaller than me. Someone did post a photo of them installed, but I couldn't find that post anywhere. Oh well..

I went ahead and made the purchase and will have them put on sometime in the coming months.

Don't hold me to this, but I'm fairly certain you can pop out the little black nubs so they will have a uniform aluminum appearance that will match any colour interior.

Thanks Larz but I think I'd rather keep them for grip.

I have the beige interior with the pedals. I like it, but the installation was a headache. I Krazy Glue all 3 pedals and screw in the foot rest plate that is far left. I have no idea how you were able to drill thru the metal pedals.

I used a C clamp to hold them in-place, drilled & bolt them before releasing the C clamp.

Very easy job

Well done! Thyey look great in the photos but I have a Q. Did you remove the rubber from the stock pedals and glue them metal-to-metal? or did you glue them to the pedals with the ruibber still inplace?

Thank you. The gas and emergency brake pedals are both glued rubber to rubber. The brake pedal did not have any rubber on it, so that's glued rubber to metal. It seems pretty stable but I'm not as secure about it after I saw that everyone else actually bolted their pedals.
