Sportmax wheel question

Yes...this is a simple question, but I've tried to google it and come up dry.... I have some Sportmax 501s that aren't on the car yet. I would like to know (if anybody knows) what they are made of...in order to keep the lip looking nice. Thanks for any input.

the wheel is aluminum, not sure the particular alloy content( you could probably contact the manufacturer for that info), the lip is a machined face with clear coat on it........pretty basic

since it's clear coated I guess it should stay nice and polished with some wax...

i have those exact same black do1's. im not sure the material, but its probably what you dont want to hear, they are xxr's but they arent bad wheels for the $$....fitments isnt bad even w/o spacers..

I'd like to see some more pics of your car with the wheels on it...since it's a black hatch like mine. What do you use on your 501s?

right now i have 205/55/16 on them, kinda beefy but it looks good, there are some more options are wider and look good on the 16x8, look at rimtuck.com

its also a street car so i dont have it slammed like i could... but here ya go

Mine are 225/50/15..yea 15.. picked them up a few months ago on my local forum. They were a month old and I paid $250 for them and they are in perfect shape. Thanks for the pics. It's the closest I've seen to what mine will look like. I'll try to remember to post pics on this thread in the next few days after the coilovers and wheels are on. I won't be slammed either. It's my DD and I refuse to be scraping my car all over the place. I also don't know anybody around here with an Eastwood so my fenders aren't rolled and I refuse to use a bat. Thanks for the pics.
