Ok folks I'm looking into getting the sportmax wheels sized 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. both front and rear have a +35 offset. The tires will be 225/40/r18 front and 255/35/r18 rear. I'm currently running KYB AGX shocks at all 4 cornes and Eibach sportlines at the 4 corners. My question is will these fit with my current setup? I have the stock brakes so there is no problem there. Oh yeah, I own a '91 s13 hatch back. Thanks in advance for your help!

You will have at least 14mm less strut clearance than stock. Measure how much room you have.

ok, im currently running 17x7's at all 4 corners with a +38 offset. Im not worried about the rears as i could fit quite a big rim there, but the fronts scare me. I'd say ive got aboot 5mm from the sidewall to the side of the strut. This could be rectified with a spacer but im more worried aboot the rim to the top of the strut. I currently have aboot 1/2 an inch of room with a 215/40/zr17 tire. So i guess my question is can i fit these rims with this suspension or do i have to go coilover? Also thanks for the guys info, im gonna contact him now!

With coilovers, they will DEFINATELY not fit.

If you have 1/2 in(12.7mm clearance) now, its gonna be close. You can always run a 5 or 8mm spacer to clear it if you have problems.

OK i checked out the guys ebay store and noticed he has the same wheels but in 17. I emailed him asking if he could piece together a set of 17x8 for the front and 18x9.5 for the rear. Seeing as i suck at this wheel fitment stuff, do you think this would be better? I have a feeling ill need a spacer for the front though.

17x8+35 front will clear fine, as long as you don't run a really wide tire. However, you will have a 1.5" wheel stagger from front to rear, which I don't reccomend. Even a 20mm stagger in tire size is enough to cause noticeable understeer on a stock suspension setup.
