So after looking around for some decent wheels I decided to go with sm 962's for my kouki. (not sure what color yet, probably gold since gold on black 240 = sex) :D

So my question is should I get staggered set like 17x7 on front and 17x9 on back, or should I just go 17x9 all around? Also what size tires would 17x9 fit? I want the "wide" look on my back wheels, I was thinking 245 or 255/45/17?

Or should I just get 18x9.5's, I'm not sure I think 18's for a 240 is too much imo.

Also anybody got pics of sportmax 962 on a s14?

Thanks alot guys

I'd just go 17x9 or 18x9.5 all around. Theres really no reason to go 7" widths in the front, unless you like understeering...

a few things you might also want to consider:~ you may or may not want to determine your tire size on your fenders (if they are rolled or not) ~ offsets!! the lower the better but that may mean you need to roll your fenders. Anything higher than a +20 wont cut it, becuase you're going to have issues with your wheels clearing your suspension (if you have coilovers, a 9.5" width won't clear the front suspension unless you have an offset of less than +15)

Buy some spacers... heres my 962s, its not a s14, but you can make them fit good...

But most will try to say, its better just to buy better fitting wheels and well... i agree.

As forewarning, I saw all the crap by using search, my question is more tire size related...So I bought this set with money I made from getting rid of an old set of Sparco seats... Figured its fresh rubber and will make it so my car doesn't slide around in the rain like Nancy Kerrigan at the ice rink.

The guy included 5mm spacers for the fronts, and it seems like spacers aren't Required? for the rears, but helpful if I want it to look something other than lame.

So I was thinking 10mm spacers all around, and that will give me +28 Front and +25 Rear, as far as I can figure. And I don't think that will require a pull or roll, since flush is +20 or +22 (I think). The sidewall in the rear is really freaking tall though, will it clear the wheel wheel, or just be a rub-job all day long? I don't mind if it throws the speedo off a bit, my car almost never leaves the city.

Fronts: 17x7 +38225/45-17Rears:17x9 +35255/45-17
