I have have sportlines on my 95 240sx right now and want a stiffer ride. I did a search and saw some good points toward the RS*R race springs. The spring rate on the RS*R is 279 for the front and 194 for the back. I cant for the life of me find the rates for a set of Sportlines. They just give some generic 20 to 25 % stiffer then oem crap.

Well I want to know if I buy the RS*R springs if I am going to just have to get something else because they are too soft. BTW my 240sx is pushing high hp numbers and already has Front and Rear suspension techniques sway bars Suspesion techniques flex system and Agx 4 way adjustable shocks in front and 8 way in the rear. Also I am running 275/40/17's on all 4 corners. I was watching some video of me autocrossing and I dont like the amount of sway I am getting. I know alot of you are thinking....coilovers you tard! But the budget is not there for that.

Thanks alot and good luck on your projects as well.

Here's a link to our archive of spring rates. Both the Sportlines and RSR Race springs are there.

how much power are you making? it seems like you've still got the bottom mount...

also, how on earth are you fitting 275's on the front w/ stock fenders?

The bottom mount what? I am pushing 375 rwhp. As far as the Wheels go, they just fit. What can I say. Any bigger and they wouldn't. Real close but still....... No rubbing up front. I did role the back out just a little. Took all of 30 seconds to do with my louisville slugger.
