Fo real. I'm surprised they didn't blow yesterday lol.

Aren't these the springs that are KYB AGX killers also?

How's the ride compared to stock? Is it overly "bouncy" over whooped out sections of road or do the stock (or KYB) struts damp it pretty well?

I must say the drop looks great.

Ofcourse it's a bit bouncier than stock but it's a huge improvement over stock. As far as blowing shocks with Sportlines. I've used Sportlines on my S14 along with KYB's for years and never had a problem. I used Sportlines with my current hatch for a few months on stock struts and had no problems. Both cars are used daily also.

I find it funny that people dis the lowering spring/strut combo and say coilovers are the only way to go. Do a search on coilovers and read about all the blown shocks there. Come on, it;s common sense that if you crank any sort of shock absorber deeper into the stroke its designed for that the ride won't be as good, as you're losing that initial dampening. This is true of coilovers, too, when they're dropped really low. The difference is a coilover damper can be rebuilt, but how frequently and and at what cost?

The benefit of coilovers is total adjustability. The downside of coilovers is total adjustability. If you want to dial in your corner weights and constantly realign your front end, then get coilovers. If you want a certain drop and want it to stay there, then a quality strut/lowering spring combo is probably right for you.

True but not completely. Depending on what type of coilovers you buy and how you adjust them, you don't lose the initial dampening. Then again, we all know the main reason why 95% of people who buys coilovers is to be able to slam their cars. I'm one of them....don't hate

peep the sig. sportlines with gr2's. Alot of people say the gr2's suck but I haven't had a problem. 30,000 miles with Jersey potholes out the @$$ and I have no complaints.

I like having the AGX/Sportline combo cause its great for the streets and I have adjustable dampening so thats a plus. In all reality its ALOT better to run just a good spring/strut cause of potholes, driveways, speed bumps, snow, ect.

The only thing I dislike is that the lowering springs sit the car level but I want he front to sit about an inch lower than the rear. Thats why ill be selling my AGX/Sportline combo sometime soon and getting colovers.

IMO they ride great for DD / street driving. I have KYB AGX's in conjunction w/ the sportlines. Set at 7/8 in the rear and 2/4 in the front. For some reason 8/8 is stiff in the rear and 1/4 is stiff in the front.
