That poor STi got owned. I think it was funny when his passenger asked after the second run, "What happened man?" The S4 was obviously tuned for way more power.

the S4 also has a V8 in it(un less its the B4 modle which has a V6 Bi-Turbo-i havent watched the vid yet im at school), i think the torque numbers are a little higher than the STI's but the S4 also costs around 40k so thats not really a good comparison as the STI doesnt stand a Chance to the S4! i was soooo close to haveing an S4 in the family too i got to take a normal S4 for a test drive (dad drove) and that thing hauld!!! i almost *****ed at him cause when he steped on it on the highway i though he only sped up to about 75 80, but nope he let off at 120!!!!!!!! it hit 120 ina mater of a couple seconds from about 65 that thing is crazy fast and beutiful!!!!!!!

I raced a 03 S4 and it was a twin turbo 6.. Quoted by the owner and verified by my own eyes under the hood.

that old S4 was TT V6

The new S4 V8 will cost you 50 grand out the door...340hp…AWD...and 3800lb ouch...freaking tank

In 2005 Audi is coming out with an RS4 that uses the same Twin Turbo V8 in the RS6 450hp…

Well, driving home one saturday night from the usual Nissan get together, going the same route as normal, a drunk driver was heading down the road and ran the red light. Smacked me in the right rear 1/4 panel, throwing me in a spin, i of course lost mental control for a bit, I then re-gained contiousness and relaized I was in a spin, but i couldnt physically ra-gain control of the car, then i slammed into a guard rail with my front passenger side. Doing damage to the front and rear....Damage was $10,300 and the insurance company told me the car was only worth $9050. Had I NOT hit the guard rail, id still be in business.Im just thankful that the motor was untouched..... Cause I pulled it out b4 the insurance company took the car. And the funny thing was, I put in a BLOWN SOHC ka motor in there..!!!

Wow...the STI is probably the ugliest car I can think of off the top of my head. It SCREAMS overstated boy-racer, whereas the audi is all about understatement. It's subtle, plenty fast, and leagues more refined...it doesn't need superfluous wings to make a statement.

Like other people said, it's a 2.7 twin turbo...with a simple chip that engine can make some SERIOUS power...

I know, because the 'rents have a 2.7 twin turbo sitting in the garage
