Has anyone purchased a V with the Sport Package and ABS? How much did you pay?

I just bought the versa with sport we also have everything else and I mean everthing, the only thing we don't have is the splash gaurds. Anyways we got a kick as deal, with out looking at the numbers we paid around $17000 before taxes. I'll have pictures sometime this weekend. I've been checking out this site for a while and no one seems to mention the sport package. My dealer has never seen a V with the Sport Package until ours came in and he thought it was really awesome. It's got a different front and back and a large spoiler. I think it looks pretty awesome my self.

Wow, that sounds like a pretty good deal. I test drove your exact car with the only difference being it had the CVT. It seems there are not too many around yet though. Every single sports package I have seen on the dealer inventories on the web site have included pretty much every other option as well (ABS, audio, sunroof, convenience...). I don't believe they are making them without that stuff although a dealer I have been e-mailing with back and forth claims he can get me one without the sunroof and audio package by this weekend. I have severe doubts about that though. I think I will have to end up ordering one...

Yeah, it was around $1500 under MSRP and around $250 under invoice. We called around and this what we got.

Originally my wife and I got screwed while ordering a V from a dealer, we asked for ABS with the Convienence P. They said no problem then came back a week later saying that Nissan wouldn't let them build the car that way. Then the dealer had the nerve to say that they went ahead and ordered the same car but with everything added for the great price of... I can't remember, but it was a blow. So we shopped around, knew what we wanted in price and got it. Some dealers wouldn't give us the time of day over the phone, which is fine they just lost our business. Finally we got a dealer that gave us that price which included the dealer handling $17000. We only had to drive 40 minutes out of our way to get it.

Here are the pics, sorry for the delay. I put them in the versa owners check in and forgot to post them here. I'm really enjoying the V, takes a little longer to get used to the clutch and the six speeds but get there.

Benzu, is that a bike rack I see on top there? If so, what make/model is it and how much did you get it for?

Yes it is a bike rack, I'm not sure of price because it a mix of pieces from a guy down the street and the bike shop.

Just go to your local bike shop or REI and they can get you a price. If you go to Yakima.com they can tell you what they recommend for size for the Versa.

If you have a sun roof like mine your going to have void the warrenty and move it forward 5 or 6 inches so the fairing misses the sunroof. That's what we did.

Also get the fairing, the nice quietness that you have now inside will go away once you put the rack on.

wow you voided your warranty for a bike rack?? I never would have done that, I paid for a warranty and I expect to have it! lol

No, not the car warrenty the yakima bike rack warrenty. I would never void the car warrenty over a bike rack.

I would've gotten the sports package but it wasn't out when I got my car.

That's what I was thinking. Although it would be very hard to void your warranty due to a roof rack, the dealer could decline warranty work on issues like leaks in your roof or moonroof.
