Does anyone own a last generation Quest with a CVT Sport Mode function? Was it even available?

Sorry, I don't own one, but I did a quick check of the official press release and the owners manual for the 2017 model. They do not reference a sport mode.

Thanks RogueOne. I didn'e see any reference in the OM either and no button. Sure is handy on the Rogue...

Definitely not much driver selectible settings for the CVT trans. You can turn "OD" off with the press of a button, or click the dash mounted shifter to "L".

The last few years of the Quest CVT will 'bang' through fake gears if you go heavy on the go pedal. Normal driving is seamless, normal CVT action.

I really wonder about any 'sport mode' as every automatic transmission on earth including CVT type technically has it available at least to a point when you simply get deeper into the throttle to demand more action. More load and the ECM changes all shift and rpm points to greatly change any shifting points or the perception of it there.

On the Jatco CVT's for the Rogue, the Sport mode raises the overall gear ratio by about 20%. I only use it as an engine brake and it works well for that at any speed. Turning off the OD over 30 mph for engine braking is bad news. Revs way too high. Too bad they didn't put it on the Quest.
