I tried searching, and maybe wasn't using the right words, but couldn't find anything. I am currently running the Sport Max/XXR 006 18x9.5" wheels and 245/35/18 tires in the rear with the Eibach Pro Kit springs. I have a set of Sportlines that I am hesitant to install because I am not sure whether or not I will need to roll the fenders? Anyone have this combo? If so, did U HAVE to roll the fenders? Or was there enough spacing that the tires wouldn't rub?

Thanks in advance

rolling fenders can be avoided up to a point by running more of a stretch and more camber and higher offset wheels and ride height

if you lower your car more your gonna need to camber it more or roll the fenders

im pretty sure that you will NEED to roll them

it isnt a bigdeal you can almost just do it with a hammer or a pole, yes i know that sounds harsh! just be careful

I would like to avoid that, since the car did get a new paint job not too long ago. And I'm already running a 245 wide tire on a 9.5" rim, which the recommended narrowest tire that should be put on a 9.5" rim. Also, tires at these sizes are not cheap, so running negative camber, is out as well. But, thanks for your insight.

it sounds like you dont wanna do anything to make them fit then. so you should either man up, buy different wheels, or leave your car alone.

You probably won't need a roll.I've had a similar combo before.17x9 +35 with a 235/45 tire. The offset is high enough, that even with decent camber, the wheel/tire didn't touch the fender when compressed(pre roll).

Basically, with the drop of the springsthe wheel would have so much -camber when compressed, rubbing won't be an issue.

If in doubt, jack the wheel up in the wheel well, and check yourself.
