spooling prob

this is what happened. ok well its kinda stupid but i was backing up and i hit the curb with my muffler. well ever since then my turbo has been makeing a funny noise while spooling up....kinda like there is a piece of paper in the way and its flapping around infront of the turbine. anyone know what that noise might be? ask me anything else that might be helpful in solveing this prob please. for right now im just driving when i have to and not boosting. thanx for any help i can get.

Did you have a REALLY good look around the turbine housing for anything not right? Maybe the turbine housing is cracked? Your sure its not some silly heat shield or something? how loud is the sound?

I'll bet you dollars to peso's it's something REALLY simple...probably something got knocked loose along your exhaust tract.

the sound is pretty loud. much louder than the sound of the turbo spooling. when i take the turbo off this weekend ill check for any cracks and ill look over all the gaskets and hopefully ill find something. but ill post anything i find out. thanx for the help everyone.
