Ok, hopefully you didn't open this thread with the intent of bashing on a naive creator.

I just bought an 05 G35 coupe. I'm interested in finding sponsors. This is not the typical 240sx guy looking to sponsor his stock s13.

My weekend job is to drive around making sure my team of guys are all doing their jobs correctly. I drive about 300 miles per weekend which makes my G the perfect moving advertisement.

I've already began propositioning local eateries to see if they are interested in advertising on my car, but I thought I'd pass the idea around on here and see if anyone had any advice.

I'm a graphic designer and I know how to market...just not myself

I'd be EXTREMELY interested in finding a sponsor who has a performance system that can switch between high performance and fuel economy, but I don't know of any.

It's VERY difficult to get sponsored...You have to write up a business proposal that shows a "return on investment" or ROI for the sponsor to even be considered. Then, if you do get sponsored, you have to go to X # of shows or other things that are in a contract.

Usually, those with heavily modified cars will be approached at shows for sponsorship. I'm in the same boat...I'd love to get sponsored to fund a forced induction mod to my G35. I placed 3rd in NOPI for my class...but it was my first show.

Hi Joe

Thanx for the reply. I think I'll take your advice and start with a full business proposal. I can modify my advertising brochure since it has a great deal of the information a proposal would and go from there.

Does anyone know of an engine management company that specializes in fuel economy and performance from the same system? I'm not going to be picky, but if I have to go proposition companies, it should at least be for products I'd like on my car.

I guess an EM system and a turbo that worked in conjunction with each other would work too. Mild boost for optimized fuel economy and higher boost for WOT.
