So, just picked up my Z, (will upload pics soon), and noticed the spolier is made of some sort of hard foam? I want to replace the spolier, but im not sure what it will involve. Are the spoilers bolted down and adhered on? Also where can i get one ( that has the markings on it for the nissan and twinturbo)

Thanks

The stock spoiler is a flush mount on the early TT's like yours. It is constructed of urethane. There are bolts under the hatch panel to get it off, not really hard to remove. You can probably still get them from Nissan but I believe a couple companies offer exact copies of the stock spoiler for less. As for the nissan and twin turbo badges, they are decals which are available from your local nissan dealer (or one of our sponsors)

There's actually several 8 and 10 mm nuts/bolts that need to be removed, plus several plastic clips that secure the stock spoiler in place. In addition, there's 3-4 large blobs of adhesive that will be very difficult to break loose.

Here's a link illustrated details of the removal, this will make it much easier:

The best fitting replacement to stay with the oem 90-93 styling is the Zeta spoiler from Kuruma Z. As previously stated, the Nissan and Twin Turbo logos are just stickers that can be purchased at most dealers or forum sponsors.

Hmm....mine didn't have any adhesive...just the bolts. Must have been off at some point prior to me removing it.
