Hey guys I just bought a 1991 Nissan 300zx tt ttop rhd. I want to remove the rear spoiler/wing, is this possible or not because I've noticed on 1990 300s the hatch has a light instead of the spoiler would I need to get this?

Assuming it's like my Powertrix one on my NA, there's a couple of nuts/bolts on the ends to remove and possibly another two out towards the tips that may need access under the two side hatch covers. Remove the center hatch panel to get to the side panels which clip in IIRC, you may need to pop off the hatch struts (a bit of a pita, support your hatch with a stick and a cloth wad as a pad, nearly fully up, and pop them off/replace carefully- the hatch is HEAVY) to get enough access for bolts. The 3rd brake light will be attached to the wing and have a harness to detach and it's off, reverse for installation...and lmk if this isn't so!

That looks like the same wing. I want to remove for good so it's just the hatch lid.

Not sure about the TT wing hatch mounting versus NA hatch (only one I've messed with). There may be the two outer mount holes left exposed on a TT, haven't had my spoiler off and checked but hope not, or that my powertrix replacement (not as much end wrap as OEM) will cover any holes from OEM wing...

Ok thanks I'm not doing it until winter but I'm trying to get as much info as possible.
