yes, As the title states.

I am an aus300zx.com member.
Nice to meet you all and be part of your forum. I am sure we both have experiences or knowledge we can both share with one another.

However, Today i am in need of your help.

I have a 1991 2+0 TT. I am chasing a veilside CII rear wing however they are not stocked in australia at all, nor does anyone seem to be able to attain one.
It looks as if i will have to import it through veilside USA.

However. there is one i have spotted on a sale here in aus for a 2+2.
Can one of you please inform me if there is a difference between the 2+2 veilside CII rear spoier and the 2+0 when it comes to fitting/mounting.

Any help you can provide is GREATLY appreciated.

Regards,
Andrew.

P.S. More direct contact would be fantastic, if you can email me at [email protected].

thanks in advance :)

I can't tell you about the veilside btu the hatches are different, however, most spoilers are made to fit either but I can't tell you for sure

ok. from my research i have realised the contour line difference in lenght of the hatch and curvature. The difference i can see fitting a 2+2 compared to a 2+0 is the fins that go alongside the hatch wont sit flush no the hatch lines.
This could be overcome with some fibreglassing i guess.

*thanks god he has a good panel shop*

if anyone has any other information please bail me out here

I had a 2+2 a couple years ago, bought a Veilside front bumper for it and its been in storage since.
2+2 is dead.. RIP

Got a 2+0 about 6months ago. Took off the stock bumper to see if the Veilside for my long gone 2+2 would fit and it would not, was a very small difference in the width (maybe 0.5-1.5inches) .
I could cut it in the middle and take out the difference in width.. but why ghetto out a beauty?

Depending on where the spoiler mounts on the hatch you might be able to get it on your 2+0, if its on the edges I highly doubt it, could always test fit it if possible and see how it would sit

i will link you to a aus300 forum member who attached a 2+2 veilside CII rear spoiler on his 2+0 300zx.

the 2nd picture of his shows the only apparent difference. The side arms of the spoiler dont sit flush with the hatch lines at the side however im sure some custom fibreglassing would fix this problem up.

Atm its costing me about $650 to get this 2+2 genuine spoiler in aus so no shipping .. where as its more like $1000 so far if i have to import it (costs are in australian dollar)
