Ok i've called all over for the spoiler. Here is the news. The spoilers were back for awhile as restricted and now are gone again for good. There are a few colors left
NAB - Midnight Garnett
K23 - Liquid Platinum
KH3 - Black Obsidian
PRice about 700 plus shipping

The issue is a quality issue with warping of the spoiler in the center under high heat. There is no solution as of now and said nothing will be out until 2012.
This is from a few infiniti dealerships that just got emails today.
I talked to the garage guy at my infiniti dealership and he said that if you get an origianal part and put it on the car even if you get it repainted you will still be under warranty.

I've had my rear deck spoiler for a almost a year now, and I have not seen any warping of my spoiler. Keep in mind I live in AZ, one of the hottest places in the US. There's gotta be more to it than that...

Sorry I the story is that they had the spoilers out for awhile, then they canceled them, then brought them back. The 2nd time I think are the ones with the problems. But I'm just relaying a msg that was repeated to me at many infiniti dealerships who contacted their infiniti reps.

My dealer called yesterday and our spoiler with integrated antenna has arrived for our 2010 midnight garnet vert. It is being installed Tuesday. Pics to follow in a few days. Took about 2 months for it to come in, plus the 2 months the car was being custom built at the factory.

Just a heads up as well on the spoiler issue. If you buy an infiniti spoiler, the dealerships I think are not supposed to sell them, but if you do buy it, the dealer will not cover it under warranty if bought now. Of course the issue will be if it does go bad, how will it be replaced once all the spoilers are sold.

Good luck - make sure the spoiler has the integrated antenna if not it's same as the one available for G37 coupe. The convertible spoilers are being made but due to manufacturing issues that's why it's not available for all the colors.

I don't know if the spoiler is worth the $1500 ( $700 parts +$800 labor) ...price specially after a year of the release of the car.
Infiniti doesn't even offer this option on 2010/2011 convertibles.. wonder why??

Thanks Cmesurf. I will verify integrated antenna but Tony confirmed it on phone so I don't anticipate a problem. I did not think he dealer was going to charge $800 to install, however! If that is the case, and it won't be covered under warranty, then I will probably have it installed privately. I will check with my dealer first though. Thanks!

I can get you new white spoiler kit for half the price you are going to get it from Canada but you will have to install yourself or have some one do it for few hundred bucks. You will still come out ahead by at least $600 or more. I have got following colors available: Some even have cameras pre assembled except white and blue ( which I am going to install on my car).

That's awesome cmesurf! What a great find! So I assume when you got those, they came with their respective XM antenna bumps, right? As great as the smurf antenna is, I think you will love the look of the rear deck spoiler and the different XM bump! Are you installing it yourself? Definitely put some pics up when you are done!

I already gave one away, I am going to Install it my self & so will the guy who got one from me.. these come with everything .. except the mechanic...:>! I have hunting for these for exactly one year, finally... I got lucky to find five as you can see in the photos:



Photos sure after i install mine - probably won't get a chance till next week as I have million other things to take care off:>!

Thanks , yes, better than dealer:>! could have and every thing works in first try.. dealer charges arm & a leg specially if you didn't buy parts or accessories from them and always leaves something unfinished that you have to go back for...
