Are you talking about the Hatchback or the Sedan?

I know that someone on the forums bought a spoiler for their Sedan and got it and the brake light installed for around $120-$150 (I think).

Also I noticed this is your first post. Welcome to the forums, I hope you stick around and discuss some things with us! Post some pictures of your Versa for us to see! :D

I have not seen much on the Sedans. The hatch... see barra's post.

I did just order one, so I'll be able to let you know all the details when it gets here. I think the lip one (in-route) should be quite easy. Gonna paint it and install it soon.

Thanks to all that replied, and barra thank you for the link. I had found that link about an hour after making my post, but was still concerned as to the removal of the trim piece on the rear door.Yes it is a 09 SL Hatchback, sorry Codelicious. As far as posting pic's, well as soon as I can figure out how I will. LOL You need to understand I'm part of that older generation so a little slow in the know!

hey welcome to the forums... the install is pretty straight forward, if youre not comfortable drilling into your hatch then i would recommend taking to a professional to have it done....

The drilling wasn't much of an issue, as you put it, "it's pretty straight forward". I was just a little concerned about the trim removal. It seems some fasteners can cause breakage not handled properly.

Find an interior/upholstery removal tool for removing things like that.

Something like this:

Perfect, thanks biggieI just may have something like that from back in the day. I just wasn't sure if Nissan used fasteners of that design.

Well now with that out of the way I have one more question if ya'll would be so kind to help.I am seeing different prices on what is suggested to be OEM.One Dealer had an on-line price of $176 with a discription of having the third brake light. Is this possibly an aftermarket?Versaspeed list one at $179 discribing it as a factory OEM rear spoiler from the sport package.Another dealer show list it at $318.I know dealers tend to be a little pricey, but that's a pretty big jump, and so I can't help but wonder what the difference.Should anyone know I could sure use some help here.

I have been pricing/buying all sorts of stuff for my Versa. It seems the dealer prices are all over the place. I would buy from the best price from a trustworthy place.

I have done several transactions from Bob at Versaspeed(however this last order is TAKING FOREVER, but he is coming through) 3 different orders from Nissan Dealers all over the states. ... been perfect3 different eBay purchases...been perfect1 from rockauto...been perfect

I would call try the cheapest dealer or versaspeed. An quick email with what is IN STOCK might be a better question.

edit: I did have one order not go perfect.. see signature. Spoke too soon. But 1 out of 10 is still not bad.
