New to NICO, you guys are awesome and from what I can see, the best source for real-life info on my new 95' Z32 vert. I'm finding that with the sheer rareness of the convertible, it's kinda hard to find alot of threads on stuff for them. I've got alot of questions, but the first one i'll start with you guys is a spoiler. Having trouble finding anyone that makes one for the vert. Because the trunk lid is alot flatter then the coupe, they aren't interchangeable. Any input would be great!

That would be correct. The vert didn't come with a factory spoiler in the states (not sure about overseas on that one), and the aftermarket ones for coupes & 2+2s don't fit, for reasons you stated. I believe Kaminari did make a decklid spoiler fro the vert, but good luck finding it. IIRC, it was a low production number thing.

Powertrix also made a good, small, CF lip spoiler that fits all three iterations, as it doesn't intrude onto the decklid very far. Might be easier to find, or you could probably email Charles over there and see if he has any old stock.

Another option that could be easily modified to fit would be the stillen type III wing, if you want something big. https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/de ... php?II=348

Oh, and where are my manners? :welcome: :wavey:

I was looking at:

http://www.wingswest.com/catalog/Nissan ... Light.html

I emailed them and asked if it would fit a convertible. They told me they couldn't guarantee it, but they had sold them to vert owners before. Not sure what to think of that. But that style is kinda what i'm aiming for. I'm not much for the big ones.

I'm sure if you got a good body guy he could make it work with gentle use of a heat gun.

I'm in the process of bonding the Powertrix one to my convertible. I really like the look and as a benefit it gets rid of the entire third brake light panel

Would you be able to post pics when it's done? I'd love to see how it looks.

How much work has the bonding been so far? Did it require alot of heat gun and moulding? I'd like to get the powertrix spoiler, I just want to get in over my head i guess.

I installed the Wings West on my 93 Cocoa Brn convertible. It takes two people to make sure the sides lay parallel to the trunk lid. I think it looks great.
