I had a aftermarket spoiler put on my 05 Max yesterday..the body shop says the light on my spoiler doesnt work. Seeing that this is aftermarket and doesnt have a plug on the end of wires do I need some kind of special jumper harness ?

You should be able to route the wires and connect them into the 3rd brake light on the back deck or down to the actual tail lights in the trunk.

I have been hearing stories that if the spoiler light doesnt get plugged into the plug from the back window 3rd light, then i will get a bulb out error message ?

I dont know how true this is though

I don't have a 6th gen so I'm not sure. You can always leave that and connect it into the rear brakes.

Check the FSM for a wiring diagram as that may help.
