Thought I'd start a new thread to track my car's progress. I just added a Version Select Body Kit, LED Tail Lights, and Tien S-tech's w/ KYB AGX's. This finishes the exterior for my 240 and I will now be moving on to the engine.

I'm holding off on new wheels until I get a five lug setup and z-brakes. I may run spacers, but I'm not sure on what size to run. I used to run spacers on my truck and I had no problems.

I decided against getting coil overs because this is a daily driver that I will not track more than once a month so I cannot justify the harshness of them, especially for me and my bad back! I will be doing a KA-T on this one, started to get the components for that going.

I'm thinking about putting some 5mm on the front, or 10mm's with new studs - but it is definitely a start in the right direction.

Oh yeah definitely! You nailed the rear though IMO! (That's what she said)

big time improvement with those wheels.

IMHO, you should have went with the same sized wheel you did in the rears for the front.

10mm spacers aren't gonna do it dude.

I'd say go with some 20-25mm bolt on spacers. You don't have to deal with extended studs, and it'll fit better.

The S14 looks so much better sitting under palm trees! Nice car and great progress!

Thinking of the day when mine can sit under a palm tree again......Palm Trees, Tiki Bars, and Girls in Bikinis!

It's already close to where I want them to fit at - the wheels are 18x9.5 in the rear and 18x8.5 in the front with +35mm offset on both. I'm running 265/35 in the rear and 235/40 up front. I think a 10 will bring it pretty close to flush - I'm not a fan of the JDM stretched tire sticking past the fenders look. But, you may be right, a 20 mm spacer may be needed. If I had gone with a 9.5 up front, it would hit the strut and and I'd have to run a 20+ spacer to clear it. The 8.5 just clears it.

Yeah, I'm up in the PSJ so you've probably seen my car around Brevard.
