i dont know if this has been discussed before but is there a splitfire kit for the ca. or can you make the sr kit work? what is different about the sr coilpacks that would make them not fit?

RB kit uses the exact same coils, but you get 6 of them... Just order 2 kits, and split them with 3 CA guys! Have you ever looked at a CA coil pack next to an SR one? That'll answer your question of why SR ones don't work. Diferent lenght, different shape, different mounting points, etc...

Sean's dead on. SR is a no-go, but the RB will work just fine.

pretty sure they're a factory replacement... damn if I only had the money! a set of second hand ones hasn't been on the market since I've been playing with CA's (at least not that I've seen )

They produce 150% standard amps, give around 8hp on a stock engine and are direct factory replacements, wiring wise im unsure.

company blurb"The Super Direct Ignition System is designed to provide a constant, stable voltage for high performance engines and will decrease ignition voltage loss at high RPM levels."

These are quite rare as mentioned.

Im asking 390us shipped

well i am running ~15psi on my CA with a T3/T04E and i need an ignition upgrade like this soon, i am having ignition problems in high RPM and heavy load... was thinking of getting the RB kit and maybe someone else can buy one and we'll ahve three happy CA campers...

i am also upgrading the stock ignitor to the AEM unit...
