well i have had my fair share of issues with my stock coilpacks. for starters i had one go out on cyl #4 and i started to panic seems how im running a NEO RB25. so i started looking into others possibilities on this side of the ocean. turns out that i could use the coils out of an earlier model maxima. turns out that i wasnt able to sucessfully mount them into the correct location but the engine did run so i was able to properly diagnos my issue. well now that i found my prob my next step was to locate a replacement coilpack...i was prepared to buy a OEM coilpack but they arent exactly easy to come by at least i had a hard time. so i decided to go with a set of splitfire coilpacks from NENGUN.com...OMFG i had no idea how poorly engine was running...the car has been completely transformed..the power is so insane that i am having difficulties keeping it in a straight line...so i know there are some of you on here that arent familiar with these coilpacks but take it from me buy them and dont look back and be prepared to get a huge smile on your face. with the extra energy coming out the splitfire coilpacks i was able to open up the gap in my plugs back to factory specs or just a shade under just to be safe. along with upgrading to the splitfire bombdiggity coilpacks i also upgraded to a quest 110amp alternator...it just keeps getting better and better. god i cant wait to really unleash this thing, now all i need to do is get my Greddy 50mm gate installed and then i can tune it..

anyone else with splitfire experiences please post em up!!

correct you are..they are factory replacements meaning no modifications required..but they pack a much bigger punch...3x's what factory coilpacks put out...i very well could have been having issues with the coils i had in my RB when i got it..i just noticed a huge difference when i replaced the stockers with the splitfires.

i gapped mine at .8...so far so god...before i had to gap them way down to like .020 just to keep my turbo from blowing out the spark. no fair that i have a much bigger turbo than what came on my engine stock...lol
