Ok you guys so im about to wrap up my motor swap in about a month or so. And the next thing i am looking at is suspension. So my question is who's the best. This is the list of stuff im ordering.

Inner/outer tie rods
Rucas
Toe rod
Traction rods
Tension rods
And bigger sway bars

LET THE BATTLE BEGIN :cartman:

I have no experience but why pay $100 more when the quality is almost the same.

I know I am going with PBM.

When I buy adjustable arms, I'll be buying from SPLparts.
Great quality parts, they use quality rod ends on their arms, and whenever they create a better version of their arms they let you upgrade for cheap.

It's really about preference. PSM has toe rods with an aggressive sweep, SPL has tie rod ends for corrected bump steer +1 etc. Really depends what you're looking for. The SPL exchange program is pretty good, especially if you're going to paying more for the parts. I would do PSM arms, Z inners, SPL outers, and Tanabe bars.

Yea the problem i have is i heard pbm has pretty good quality. And we know spl is top notch. But im torn between the two because im not going to be drifting, and i will only probaly attend like two autocross events a year.

The car is only really going to be used for weekend cruising being that i already have gas gusslin daliy driver. :argh

Come on nico help me out what would you do? :picard:

replace the bushings in your oem arms. if all you're going to be doing is cruising around with a rare autox session, getting adjustable arms is a complete waste of money.

So you think the energy suspension complete hyperflex kit would do the job. I mean its not like the car is going to be slammed. Because im going with kyb agx shocks with eibach springs, with 17's. :yesnod

May still need some things to adjust alignment, just depends on the drop. At least tension rods and possible RUCA.

I'm on lowering springs with agx's and I didn't need any rucas or anything. Alignment is a yes though.

I am rocking an entire SPL Suspension Setup on my S13. I am using an S14 Subframe and SPL is the only company with conversion parts and unmatched product support for doing just that.

You can pay 100$ less, but keep in mind this is an automobile and quality suspension parts are as necessary as safety harnesses/seatbelts.

Guarantee this car handles better than the majority of the vehicles coming off of the assembly line today.

I have a mix of both. I have the full arms set from PBM and the KTS coilovers and tie rods and ends from SPL. After riding on both I I can honestly say PBM are better they are almost $300 cheaper than SPL's, just as "beefy", lots of bling, and the SPL arms rust really fast while the PBM's are fully coated. I'm also saving to replace my KTS coils with PBM.

Honestly SPL has been the consistant front runner for long before a lot of these other companies was created for a reason. They do a great job on R&D, stand behind their work, and if there's a problem, they not only fix it, but improve it. And for being as small as that company is (like 4 people) it's even more amazing they do such a dam good job at being awesome. I've had SPL parts on my S14 for years and will continue to run their products in the future.

True, I'd do SPL everything if I could afford it. But my cars are Frankenstien of suspsension parts (project nissan, megan, D2, Tanabe, SPL, etc, etc).

My 2 SPL things:
Solid Subframe bushings (D2, tanabe, and intense power also pictured):
