Which do you think is a better? SPL seems to have a more popular design vs the PBM ones, I havent seen too many designed like theirs are.

I'd go with the SPL. I have no idea which design is better, just like them better.

Yeah I just feel like SPL has more of a solid reputation for quality parts.

I like PBM's color scheme and look. But I have SPL adjustable tie rods, and just seeing how beefy they made those, and the quality, I would go with SPL.

But honestly i'm pretty sure PBM is just as good.

Yeah i mean every company is usually good for something, but some other company could make better tie rod ends etc.. while some other company makes better rucas or whatever. Ive always like the beefiness of SPLs products they are quality parts for sure, I'm just curious as to why PBM designed them the way they do. I also like Spl's bad arse brake ducting plate.

SPL, because you can bolt on their air deflector to the tension to help cool brakes.

Plus I'm partial to SPL.

Heard they are not that good if your car is lowered.

Are you referring to the brake defectors or the rods? One would think SPL took into consideration that their parts would be used on lowered cars. Since if your taking interest in fancy arms, more than likely, your springs/ridehight has changed from factory.

But what do I know. Call SPL

Look at toe rods. Most companies don't make toe rods with the geometry for Slammed cars. Maybe he means slammed cars can't use the deflectors.

Hmm Air deflectors are Baller, However im wondering if the rods themselves are so thick that they hit the sway bar? When the car is slammed? I dont see this happening but maybe thats what 94_240 was talking about... I think hes mainly talking about the brake deflector plates though.

Sorry about that. Yes, what I meant was deflectors. I think they scrape and get damaged on lowered car. I remeber someone regretted getting them for his s14. He was one of the mods.

Buy either one, both companies are well know for making quality stuff. So in other words if you are on a budget, then get which ever is cheaper. If you are planning to get a lot of other adjustable suspension components then personally I would get the SPL because they make more parts and I would want to have all matching brand adjustable suspension pieces. But that is just because I am weird like that.

Thats awesome, also im pretty damn low if that makes any difference at all i dont think it does, But i see with the PBM ones they are flat on one side (maybe 2 sides) Idk if thats for extra clearance or what lol but i know how they love ULTRA SLAMMED cars hehehe

Yeah now im mainly worried about the tension rod hitting the sway bar.. IDK if the SPL ones would hit or not but they are definitely beefy... Anyone have them on a slammed car? How do they work out? PICS!

I just picked up a pair of spl's and they feel so solid. idk why there would be much of a difference between the 2 when your car is slammed. They adjust the same thing.......

Im talking about the clearance between the tension rod and the sway bar in the front on a slammed car... The spls are thicker than all the rest of the tension rods thats why im concerned..

This post is already spawning others about SPL not working with lowered cars. Would someone just call them already and straighten this out?
